Projected Oid Limit 2025. The national wages council (nwc) convened from august to october 2024 to formulate wage guidelines for the period. As of 1 april 2024, south africans will see the implementation of the increased annual earningsthreshold determined by the minister of employment and labour (minister) in the amount.
The director general of employment and labour published a government notice (notice 2390 of 2024, published 27 march 2024), increasing the oid earnings threshold from r568 959 per annum to r597 328 per annum effective 1 march 2024 (2024/2025 year of assessment).
